Highlight for the 2010 season are the abundand rains helping to recover from what was left after the desastrous absence of rains in 2009. Many plants and trees died last season and we have a hard time replanting. Together with the generous rains also nature brings us much more, the African Pitta (May 23, 2010), the beautiful boomslang and of course the visit of the lion (May 2010) after many years.
Good news is the renewed cooperation with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism, with a first student tree planting campaign in Pugu Forest (April 24th, 2010) and more plans in the pipeline..........?
